Dragonfly Hollow

Dragonfly Hollow is the display garden designed & gardened by MILIEUX's owner, Vanessa Nagel.  As an ardent gardener for over 35 years, half of the one-acre property owned since 1990 is a garden full of design experimentation using new plants, plant combinations and ideas.  Garden art includes an award-winning pebble mosaic; a wall-mounted, copper-plated steel with Japanese family crests; a collection of fantasy dragonflies; glass & steel art; copper, bamboo, & glass arbor; recycled found objects and art from other countries.  Some garden photos are included below.

The chartreuse concrete ball works a little magic amongst the Ophiopogon, lysimachia & persicaria.

The weeping cherry tree was removed - except for the stump, which now provides the support for a new Thai spirit house. One of the three new glass 'flowers' make a statement along the front walk amidst a variety of plants.

The new fused glass & steel peacock tail gives the topiary more definition along the front walk.

The patio and deck offer a comfortable dining area, cozy conversation space and a view of the laughing Buddha and copper-plated steel panels designed by Vanessa last year.
